A Bill to amend Section 1-1-730, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the adoption of the United States Census, so as to adopt the 1990 Census; and to provide that the filing period for candidates seeking nomination by political party primary, convention, or petition for a countywide or less than countywide office is between noon April sixteenth and Noon April thirtieth; and to provide that for 1992 only the date for filing the notice of candidacy and pledge by a candidate in a primary election as the nominee of a political party for a countywide office is Noon on April thirtieth.
