A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 2-19-70, so as to provide that the provisions of Chapter 19 of Title 2 of the 1976 Code, relating to screening of candidates for offices elected by the General Assembly apply to any person who is appointed by the Governor to fill a vacancy in the office of Circuit Solicitor before the consent of the Senate is granted.
