A Bill to amend Section 20-7-2170, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to procedures for committing a juvenile to the Department of Juvenile Justice after adjudicated or found delinquent, so as to provide that a child twelve years old or older may be committed for a determinant period not to exceed ninety days to a secure correctional facility of the Department without first committing the child to an evaluation center.
