A Concurrent Resolution to memorialize Congress to include in the 1990 Farm Bill a homestead protection provision whereby farmers and their spouses who are at least sixty years old and whose debt restructuring plans leave no reasonable alternative but foreclosure or homestead protection would be offered homestead protection as defined in the 1987 Agricultural Credit Act (the house and up to ten surrounding acres) and that this homestead protection be put in the form of a life estate for the farmer and his spouse.
