A Bill to amend Section 7-11-210, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to notice of candidacy and pledges of candidates as nominees of a political party in a party primary, so as to add to the pledge the acceptance that write-in votes for the pledgee may not be counted in the ensuing special or general election for the same office if he is defeated in the primary election, to repudiate campaign tactics which the pledgee condemns, and prohibit the use of appeals to negative prejudice based on race, sex, religion, national origin, or physical health status.
