Senator Hutto proposes the following amendment (SJ-4804.MB0002S):
Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, by striking Section 16-15-405(D)(1) and (2) and inserting:
(D) (1) A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be imprisoned not less than twothree years nor more than ten years. No part of the minimum sentence may be suspended nor is the individual convicted eligible for parole until he has served the minimum sentence.Amend the bill further, SECTION 2, Section 16-15-405, by striking the MACROBUTTON NoMacro <
Amend the bill further, SECTION 3, by striking Section 16-15-410(C)(3) and inserting:
(3) For any violation of the provisions of this sectionsubsection (C)(1)(b) or (c), no part of the minimum sentence may be suspended nor is the person convicted eligible for parole until he has served the minimum sentence.Renumber sections to conform.
Amend title to conform.
