AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES OF DECEASED PERSONS WHO OWNED PEANUT OR TOBACCO ALLOTMENTS MAY LEASE SUCH ALLOTMENTS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Representatives of deceased persons may lease allotments

Section 1. With the approval of the probate court having jurisdiction over the estate of a deceased person, the personal representative of such deceased person may lease on an annual basis any peanut or tobacco allotment owned by the deceased person.

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
