A JOINT RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR MAKING WRITTEN APPLICATION FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION TO JUNE FIFTEENTH FOR THE TAX YEAR 1980 ONLY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Deadline for making written application extended

Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 12-37-250, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, the deadline for making written application for homestead exemption is extended to June fifteenth for the tax year 1980 only.

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
