AN ACT TO EXTEND THE SHAD SEASON ON PORTIONS OF THE WACAMAW, EDISTO AND SAVANNAH RIVERS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Shad season extended

Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 50-17-2110 of the 1976 Code, for the year 1980 only, the open season for the taking of shad above the forty-mile limit on the Wacamaw River in Game Zone No. 7 is extended to May twenty-fourth; and on the Edisto River, from the Highway 61 bridge to the headwaters of the river, and on the Savannah river north of the I-95 bridge the 1980 season is extended to May fourth.

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
