A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 7-7-960, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE CHANGING OF WARD AND PRECINCT LINES IN AREAS ANNEXED TO MUNICIPALITIES, SHALL BE SUSPENDED IN PART AS IT RELATES TO LEXINGTON COUNTY FOR THE YEAR 1980 ONLY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Provisions suspended

Section 1. For the year 1980 only, in Lexington county the provisions of subsection (b) of Section 7-7960 of the 1976 Code are hereby suspended.

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
