AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT MONIES RECEIVED BY JURORS SHALL BE CONSIDERED EXPENSE ALLOWANCES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Monies received by jurors

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any monies received by a person for service as a juror in any court of this State shall be considered an expense allowance for such service.

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval of the Governor.
