AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 40-43-420, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO PHARMACISTS AND PHARMACIES, SO AS TO INCREASE THE FEE FOR OPENING A NEW PHARMACY FROM THIRTY DOLLARS TO ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND THE RENEWAL FEE FROM TWENTY DOLLARS TO THIRTY DOLLARS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Fee increased

Section 1. Section 40-43-420 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 40-43-420. The fee for a permit to open a new pharmacy shall be one hundred dollars and for the annual renewal of a permit to operate a pharmacy shall be thirty dollars."

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval of the Governor.
