AN ACT TO EXTEND THE SHAD SEASON ON A PORTION OF THE EDISTO RIVER TO MAY FIRST FOR THE YEAR 1980 ONLY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Shad season on Edisto River extended

Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 50-17-2110 of the 1976 Code, for the year 1980 only, the open season for the taking of shad on the Edisto River from the mouth of Penny Creek to the headwaters of the river is extended to May first.

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
