AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-17-1600, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO TRAWLING FOR SHRIMP, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL TO TRAWL FOR SHRIMP BETWEEN ONE-HALF HOUR AFTER OFFICIAL SUNSET AND ONE-HALF HOUR BEFORE OFFICIAL SUNRISE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Unlawful to trawl for shrimp during certain hours

Section 1. Section 50-17-1600 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 129 of 1977, is further amended to read:

"Section 50-17-1600. It shall be unlawful to trawl for shrimp in the waters of this State between one-half hour after official sunset and one-half hour official sunrise."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
