AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 698 OF 1976, RELATING TO REGULATION OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS BY THE LAND RESOURCES CONSERVATION COMMISSION, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSION TO SET CERTAIN FEES UP TO STATED LIMITS IN AMOUNTS NECESSARY TO PAY FOR ITS ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES CONCERNING LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS RATHER THAN IN AMOUNTS SPECIFICALLY PRESCRIBED IN THE ACT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Fees

Section 1. Section 19 of Act 698 of 1976 is amended to read:

"Section 19. The board shall annually prescribe reasonable fees, not to exceed the following prescribed limits, in an amount sufficient to pay for the costs of administering the provisions of this act in the following categories:

(a) An application fee for examinations $200.00

(b) An original certificate fee 50.00

(c) Annual license fee 50.00

(d) Temporary certificate fee 50.00

(e) Duplicate certificate fee 10.00

(f) Certificate of authorization fee 50.00

An additional amount not to exceed one hundred dollars may be charged each out-of-state applicant in each of the above categories."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
