AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 58-15-250, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE MEETINGS OF STOCKHOLDERS OF RAILROAD, STREET RAILWAY, STEAMBOAT AND CANAL COMPANIES, SO AS TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT REQUIRING ONE MEETING OF SUCH COMPANIES TO BE HELD ANNUALLY IN THIS STATE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Stockholders entitled to one vote

Section 1. Section 28-15-250 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 58-15-250. At all stockholders' meetings each stockholder shall be entitled to one vote for each share of stock held or owned by him and shall be entitled to vote for directors, trustees or managers as provided in Section 33-11-200."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
