AN ACT TO REQUIRE SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF THE STATE TO PROVIDE COPIES OF THEIR ANNUAL BUDGET TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND TO SET THE DEADLINE FOR SUPPLYING SUCH COPIES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

School districts to supply copies of budget to Department of Education

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, each school district of the State shall provide the State Department of Education each year with two copies of its annual budget and two copies of its audit report, one copy of each to be furnished to the Chairman of the State Board of Education.

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
