A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE FOR THE MILLAGE TO BE LEVIED IN MARION COUNTY FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1981, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1982.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Millage levied in Marion County for school purposes
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied in Marion County for school purposes for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982, the following millage:
Marion District No. 1:
Countywide millage for all schools 89
County Board 11
Marion-Mullins Vocational School 13

Mullins District No. 2:
Countywide millage for all -schools 89
County Board 11

Lower Marion District No. 3:

Revenues to be collected by trustees
SECTION 2. The revenue shall be collected by the treasurer, after which lie shall notify the clerk of the county board of education of the amount collected each month and the clerk shall apportion the money so that the local support required by the State from each district will receive first obligation in order for the district to receive its state allocation, the remainder of local revenue to be distributed equally to all districts based on average daily membership. The county board shall transfer five mills equally to all districts based on average daily membership, such funds to be distributed on a monthly basis.
Time effective
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
