A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE FOR THE HONORING OF VOUCHERS BY THE COMPTROLLER GENERAL FOR STATE OPERATING EXPENSES UNTIL ENACTMENT OF THE 1981-82 GENERAL APPROPRIATION ACT.
Whereas, the General Appropriation Bill for fiscal year 1981-1982 has not been enacted; and
Whereas, the continuing function and operation of state government requires that certain expenditures be continued after the expiration of the current General Appropriation Act. Now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Comptroller General to honor vouchers
SECTION 1. The Comptroller General shall continue to honor all vouchers for payment of operating expenditures as provided in the State General Appropriation Act for 1980-81, in the event the 1981-82 Appropriation Act does not take effect prior to July 1, 1981, and shall continue to do so until such act does take effect.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
