AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-11-355 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE FINE PENALTY FOR PERSONS CONVICTED OF HUNTING DEER DURING THE CLOSED SEASON SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS NOR MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Hunting deer during closed season--penalties

Section 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-11-355. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any person convicted for hunting deer during the closed season shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars nor more than two hundred dollars. None of the fine shall be suspended."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
