AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 903 OF 1976, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DEFINED SINGLE-MEMBER ELECTION DISTRICTS FOR THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF YORK COUNTY, SO AS TO REAPPORTION SUCH ELECTION DISTRICTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNITED STATES CENSUS OF 1980.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Election districts
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 903 of 1976 is amended to read:
"Section 1. Commencing with the 1982 general election, one member of the governing body of York County shall be elected from each of the following defined single-member election districts:

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
