AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 42-9-30, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO AMOUNTS OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION PAID, SO AS TO INCREASE BENEFITS FOR THE LOSS OF A HAND.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Benefits for loss of hand

Section 1. Item (12) of Section 42-9-30 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(12) For the loss of a hand, sixty-six and two-thirds percent of the average weekly wages during one hundred and eighty-five weeks."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
