AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-7-50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO AUDITS OF THE ATLANTIC STATES MARINE FISHERIES COMMISSION, SO AS TO TRANSFER THE AUDITING AUTHORITY FROM THE COMPTROLLER GENERAL TO THE STATE AUDITOR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Auditing authority transferred

Section 1. Section 50-7-50 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 50-7-50. The State Auditor may from time to time examine the accounts and books of the Commission, including its receipts, disbursements and such other items referring to its financial standing as the State Auditor may deem proper, and report the results to the State Budget and Control Board."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
