AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 11-25-260, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CERTIFICATION OF LEGISLATIVE PRINTING, SO AS TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT OF FILING COPIES OF MATTERS PRINTED WITH THE COMPTROLLER GENERAL.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Certification of legislative printing

Section 1. Section 11-25-260 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 11-25-260. The faithful performance for printing for each House shall be certified by its presiding officer and clerk. In the absence of either of such officers from the seat of the government, the Secretary of State, to whom the work may be delivered, shall certify to its proper execution."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
