AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE SCHOOL TRUSTEES TO WAIVE UP TO THREE DAYS OF REQUIRED SCHOOL ATTENDANCE BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER DURING THE 1981-82 SCHOOL YEAR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Trustees may waive school attendance--inclement weather

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any school district board of trustees may waive up to three days of required school attendance in that district if the schools were closed on those days due to inclement weather during the 1981-82 school year.

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
