AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 12-43-330 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT PROPERTY EXEMPTED FROM AD VALOREM TAXATION BY SECTION 12-37-220 DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ASSESSED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Property exempt from assessment

Section 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 12-43-330. Property exempted from ad valorem taxation by Section 12-37-220 is also exempt from assessment."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
