AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-17-35, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO SALTWATER-FRESHWATER DIVIDING LINES, SO AS TO CHANGE REFERENCES TO SEABOARD COASTLINE RAILROAD TO SEABOARD RAILROAD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina: Salt water-fresh water dividing lines

SECTION 1. Item (a) of Section 50-17-35 of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 387 of 1980, is amended by striking on line two "Coastline". The item when amended shall read:

"(a) On the Savannah River the dividing lines shall be the old track bed of the Seaboard Railroad located approximately 1.75 miles upstream from the U. S. Highway 17A bridge across the Savannah River."

SECTION 2. Item (b) of Section 50-17-35 of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 387 of 1980, is amended by striking on line two "Coastline" The item when amended shall read: "(b) On the Wright and Ashepoo Rivers the dividing line shall be the old Seaboard Railroad track bed."

SECTION 3. Item (e) of Section 50-17-35 of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 387 of 1980, is amended by striking on line two "Coastline". The item when amended shall read: "(e) On the Edisto River the dividing line shall be the old Seaboard Railroad track bed near Matthews Cut Canal."

Time effective

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
