AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE PARTY PRIMARY ELECTIONS AND ANY NECESSARY RUNOFFS FOR MEMBERS OF THE SUMTER COUNTY COUNCIL MUST BE HELD ON THE SAME DATES THAT THE STATE SENATE PRIMARIES AND RUNOFFS ARE HELD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Party primary elections for members of Sumter County Council

SECTION 1. The party primary elections and any necessary runoffs for members of the Sumter County Council must be held on the same dates that the State Senate primaries and runoffs are held.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
