AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 163 OF 1977, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE EDUCATION FINANCE ACT OF 1977, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE TIME FOR SUBMITTING CERTAIN REPORTS OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL BE MADE NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER FIFTEENTH OF EACH YEAR INSTEAD OF AUGUST FIFTEENTH OF EACH YEAR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

School district to submit report to board

SECTION 1. Item (f) of subsection (4) of Section 6 of Act 163 of 1977 is amended to read:

"(f) in accordance with the format approved by the State Board of Education, annually submit to the State Board of Education and to the people of the district that district's fiscal report. Each school district shall annually submit to the State Board of Education and to the people of the district that district's programmatic report including results of the required testing program, the annual long-range plan and the evaluation of programeffectiveness by September fifteenth of each year."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
