AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM ROAD NUMBER 744 IN THE TOWN OF CHERAW, CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, WHICH INCLUDES THE EMERGENCY ENTRANCE TO THE BACK OF THE FORMER HOSPITAL AND THE LOOP IN FRONT OF THE OLD HOSPITAL.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Road closed

SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall close and remove from the state highway system Road Number 744 in the Town of Cheraw, Chesterfield County, which includes the emergency entrance to the back of the former hospital and the loop in front of the old hospital.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
