AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-580, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO SEASONS FOR THE HUNTING OF GAME IN GAME ZONE NO. 3, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THERE SHALL BE NO CLOSED SEASON FOR THE HUNTING OF RABBITS WITH DOGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING THE DOGS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Open season for hunting rabbits

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section 50-11-580 is amended to read:

"Section 50-11-580. The open season for the hunting of rabbits in Game Zone 3 is from Thanksgiving Day to March first, inclusive. There is no closed season for the running of rabbits with dogs for the purpose of training the dogs."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
