AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 1377 OF 1968, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF ADDITIONAL BONDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ARMORIES AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE JOINT BOND REVIEW COMMITTEE SHALL SCHEDULE THE AUTHORIZATION INTO ITS SCHEDULE OF AUTHORIZATIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Findings
SECTION 1. In order to avoid losing matching federal funds in the amount of two million six hundred ninety-one thousand dollars, the State finds that it must issue general obligation bonds to construct new armories to insure that our State share its responsibility in the defense of our country.
Authorization of bonds
SECTION 2. Subitem 2 (Adjutant General's Office) of item (f) of Section 3 of Act 1377 of 1968, as added by Act 179 of 1981, is amended to read:

Committee to schedule authorization
SECTION 3. The Joint Bond Review Committee shall schedule the authorization as provided in Section 2 of this act into the priorityschedule it has previously adopted.
Time effective
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
