A JOINT RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE OPERATORS OF THE MAULDIN PERRIN HOME IN GREENWOOD COUNTY TO RETURN TO THE STATE TREASURER ANY UNSPENT PORTION OF THE TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLAR CONTRIBUTION MADE TO THE HOME BY THE STATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 119, PART I OF ACT 178 OF 1981 AND AUTHORIZING THE TREASURER TO TRANSFER ANY FUNDS RECEIVED TO THE GREENWOOD MUSEUM COMMISSION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Operators requested to return money

SECTION 1. The operators of the Mauldin Perrin Home in Greenwood County, who received a contribution of twenty thousand dollars from the State pursuant to Section 119, Part I of Act 178 of 1981, are directed to return any remaining unspent portion of the contribution to the State Treasurer. The State Treasurer is authorized to transfer any funds received pursuant to this section to the Greenwood Museum Commission.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
