A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE TIME FOR THE FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE EXEMPTION OF PROPERTY REQUIRED BY SECTION 12-3-145, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, FOR THE 1980, 1981, 1982, AND 1983 TAX YEARS IS EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 1, 1983.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Time for filing extended

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the time for the filing of applications for the exemption of property required by Section 12-3-145 of the 1976 Code for the 1980, 1981, 1982, and 1983 tax years is extended until July 1, 1983.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
