AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-170, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE VOTING PRECINCTS AND VOTING PLACES IN CHESTER COUNTY SO AS TO REVISE CERTAIN VOTING PLACES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Voting precincts and places in Chester County
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-170 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 537 of 1978, is further amended to read:
"Section 7-7-170. In Chester County there are voting precincts with voting places as follows: Baldwin Mill at Old Springs Golf Club; Baton Rouge at West Chester Fire Department; Beckhamville at the Recreation Hall of the St. Michael Catholic Church; Blackstock at Cornwell Community Center; Edgemoor at Old Edgemoor Schoolhouse; Eureka Mill at the Church of God; Fort Lawn at Fort Lawn Health Center; Halsellville at Leeds Fire Department; Hazelwood at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church; Lando at Lando Health Center; Lansford at W. D. Fudge's Store; Lowrys at Lowrys Town Hall; Richburg at Richburg Fire Department; Rodman at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church; Rossville at Rossville Community Center; Wilksburg at Turkey Creek Fish Camp; Great Falls Nos. 1 and 2 at Great Falls War Memorial Building; Great Falls No. 3 at Great Falls Magistrate's Office; Chester, Ward 1 at Chester County Courthouse; Chester, Ward 2 at Chester Civic Center; Chester, Ward 3 at Old National Guard Armory Building and Chester, Ward 4 at the Springsteen Clubhouse.
The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on maps filed with the clerk of court of the county and also on file with the State Election Commission as provided and maintained by the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control Board."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
