A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT AGRICULTURAL TAX ASSESSMENTS FOR LAND STILL USED FOR AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES ARE RENEWED FOR THE SAME PERIOD OF TIME THEY WERE ORIGINALLY MADE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Agricultural tax assessments renewed

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of the proviso at the end of item (d) of Section 12-43-220 of the 1976 Code, agricultural tax assessments for land still used for agricultural purposes are renewed for the same period of time for which they were initially made.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
