AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR AN ADDITIONAL MAGISTRATE FOR FLORENCE COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Additional magistrate for Florence County

SECTION 1. In addition to the number of magistrates authorized by law for Florence County, there is authorized one additional magistrate. He shall be available at all hours during the periods when other magisterial offices are customarily open. He shall take the oath of office taken by other magistrates in the county. The compensation of this magistrate shall be set by the governing body of the county.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
