AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-13-1192, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO USE OF NONGAME FISHING DEVICES IN FRESHWATERS OF THE STATE, SO AS TO PERMIT THE USE OF TRAPS, TROTLINES, AND JUGS IN LAKE RICHARD B. RUSSELL.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Nongame fishing devices in fresh waters of this State

SECTION 1. Section 50-13-1192 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 131 of 1983, is further amended by adding after

"Lake Murray:

Traps Maximum five per license holder

Trotlines One hundred fifty hooks maximum per license

holder (three-line maximum)"

the following:

"Lake Richard B. Russell:

Traps Maximum five per license holder

Trotlines One hundred fifty hooks maximum per license

holder (three-line maximum)

Jugs Maximum fifty per license holder".

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
