AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-21-45, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE WILDLIFE AND MARINE RESOURCES DEPARTMENT TO ADMINISTER OATHS AND ACKNOWLEDGE SIGNATURES WHEN ENGAGED IN WATERCRAFT TITLING AND REGISTRATION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Officers and employees may administer oaths, etc.

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-21-45. Officers and employees of the Department engaged in the work of administering and enforcing the provisions of this chapter may administer oaths and acknowledge signatures and must do so without fee."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
