AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 44-7-1430, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS CONTAINED IN THE HOSPITAL REVENUE BOND ACT, SO AS TO CHANGE THE DEFINITION OF "HOSPITAL AGENCY".

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Definition

SECTION 1. Item (f) of Section 44-7-1430 is amended to read:

"(f) 'Hospital agency' means any person, firm, corporation, association, or partnership whether for profit or not for profit, existing or hereafter created and empowered to acquire, by lease or otherwise, operate and maintain hospital facilities."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
