AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 481 OF 1984, RELATING TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA MODULAR BUILDINGS CONSTRUCTION ACT, SO AS TO CHANGE THE CHAPTER DESIGNATION IN THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, FROM CHAPTER 41 OF TITLE 23 TO CHAPTER 43 OF TITLE 23.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Chapter redesignated

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 481 of 1984, which designated The South Carolina Modular Buildings Act as Chapter 41 of Title 23 of the 1976 Code, is amended so that the chapter is redesignated as Chapter 43 of Title 23 of the 1976 Code and Sections 23-41-10 through 23-41-200 are redesignated 23-43-10 through 23-43-200.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
