AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR AN ADDITIONAL MAGISTRATE FOR CALHOUN COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Additional magistrates for Calhoun County

SECTION 1. In addition to the number of magistrates authorized by law for Calhoun County, there is authorized one additional magistrate, for the upper area of Calhoun County, including Sandy Run. He must be available during the periods established by the chief magistrate of the county. He shall take the oath of office taken by other magistrates in the county. The compensation of this additional magistrate must be set by the governing body of the county.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
