A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR AD VALOREM PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION REQUIRED BY SECTION 12-3-145, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, FOR THE 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, AND 1986 TAXABLE YEARS IS EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 1, 1986.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Time for filing applications extended

SECTION 1. The time for the filing of applications for the exemption of property required by Section 12-3-145 of the 1976 Code for the 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, and 1986 tax years is extended until July 1, 1986.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
