A JOINT RESOLUTION TO AMEND ACT 608 OF 1978, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE PERIODIC REVIEW OF THE OPERATION OF STATE AGENCIES PRIOR TO THEIR TERMINATION OR REAUTHORIZATION, SO AS TO DELETE THE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR PUBLIC LIBRARIANS FROM THE SCHEDULE OF AGENCIES AND PROGRAMS DUE TO TERMINATE JUNE 30, 1985.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Termination date

SECTION 1. Item (F) of Section 6 of Act 608 of 1978, as amended by Act 41 of 1983, is further amended to read:

"(F) June 30, 1985, is the termination date for:

(1) Harbor Pilots

(2) Masseurs or Masseuses

(3) Polygraph Examiners

(4) Private Detective and Private Security Agencies

(5) Board of Registration for Foresters."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
