AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-260, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO DESIGNATION OF THE VOTING PRECINCTS IN FLORENCE COUNTY SO AS TO REDEFINE THE WEST FLORENCE AND WARD 3 PRECINCTS, AND TO REPEAL ACT 515 OF 1984 RELATING TO THE WEST FLORENCE AND WARD 3 PRECINCTS IN FLORENCE COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Voting precinct redefined

SECTION 1. The West Florence Precinct as contained in Section 7-7-260 of the 1976 Code is further amended to read:

"West Florence - Beginning at the intersection of US 52 (north) and Florence County line - southeast on US 52 to state road 29 (Cashua Rd.) and south on state road 29 (Cashua Rd.) to the

intersection of road 29, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, and the Florence City limits - southwest along the city limits to Jefferies Creek - east on Jefferies Creek to the Florence County line - northeast on the county line to US 52 (origin)."

Ward 3 Precinct redefined

SECTION 2. The Ward 3 Precinct as contained in Section 7-7-260 of the 1976 Code is further amended to read:

"Ward 3 - Beginning at the intersection of state road 29 (Cashua Rd.) and US 52, southeast on US 52 to the intersection of US 52 and state road 91 (Chase St.) - south on state road 91 (Chase St.) to Seaboard Coast Line Railroad - west on Seaboard Coast Line Railroad to the intersection of state road 29 (Cashua Rd.) and the Florence city limits and north on state road 29 (Cashua Rd.) to US 52 (origin)."

Repeal

SECTION 3. Act 515 of 1984 is repealed.

Time effective

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
