AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 632 OF 1980, RELATING TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SO AS TO REVISE THE PER DIEM AND MILEAGE THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD RECEIVE FOR EACH MEETING.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Board member shall receive per diem

SECTION 1. Section 3 of Act 632 of 1980 is amended to read:

"Section 3. No member of the board of trustees may receive a salary but shall receive a per diem of fifty dollars for each meeting with the chairman receiving seventy-five dollars for each meeting. The members of the board shall also receive mileage and subsistence as provided by law for members of boards, committees, and commissions, but the mileage may not exceed twenty cents a mile."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
