AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 395 OF 1984, RELATING TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA BANK HOLDING ACT, SO AS TO CHANGE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ACT FROM JULY 1, 1986, TO JANUARY 1, 1986.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Effective date

SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of Section 7 of Act 395 of 1984 is amended to read:

"(a) Except as otherwise set forth in subsection (b) of this section, this act becomes effective on January 1, 1986."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
