AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT ORANGEBURG COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER THREE MAY INCREASE ITS TAX MILLAGE BY NINE MILLS WITHOUT A REFERENDUM FOR THE 1985-86 SCHOOL YEAR ONLY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

School district may increase tax millage

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Act 245 of 1983, Orangeburg County School District Number Three may increase its tax millage by nine mills without a referendum for the 1985-86 school year only.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
