AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-501, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE VOTING PRECINCTS IN SUMTER COUNTY SO AS TO TRANSFER THE PROPERTY ON WHICH THE SUMTER ELK'S CLUB IS SITUATED TO THE SECOND MILL PRECINCT AND TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-502, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE VOTING PLACES OF THE VOTING PRECINCTS IN SUMTER COUNTY, SO AS TO REVISE CERTAIN VOTING PLACES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Voting precincts and places in Sumter County

SECTION 1. Section 7-7-502 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 41 of 1985, is further amended to read:

"Section 7-7-502. In Sumter County the voting places of the various precincts are as follows:

Property transferred to precinct

SECTION 2. Section 7-7-501 of the 1976 Code, as amended, is further amended by adding the following new paragraph at the end thereof to read:

"The property on which the Sumter Elk's Club is situated is hereby transferred to the Second Mill Precinct."

Time effective

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
