AN ACT TO FURTHER PROVIDE FOR THE TERMS OF OFFICE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF GREENWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 50, SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 51 COMPOSED OF AREAS IN ABBEVILLE, GREENWOOD, AND LAURENS COUNTIES, AND NINETY-SIX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 52 IN GREENWOOD COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Terms of office

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 59-19-315 of the 1976 Code or any other provision of law, the terms of office and the dates these terms commence and expire of members of the board of trustees of Greenwood School District No. 50, School District No. 51 composed of areas in Abbeville, Greenwood, and Laurens Counties, and Ninety-Six School District No. 52 in Greenwood County are as provided by Act 546 of 1982.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
